Use this template to welcome newly registered users to the project. It's best to "subst" the template into their user talk pages, using this syntax:
{{subst:welcome}} --~~~~
This will expand to include the entire text, plus your signature.
If you want to use another name for the new user, add it as an argument to the "subst", like so:
{{subst:welcome|Betty}} --~~~~
You can also add your own comments or personalized suggestions after the template, like this:
{{subst:welcome}} Thanks for your work on [[Pinot Noir]]!
