Quebec is a province of Canada.

edit Tasting

It is dominated by white wines made with hybrid grapes like Seyval, Geisenheim and Vandal Cliche. Recently, some winemakers have experimented with a certain amount of success with Chardonnay. Quebec's future might lie in ice wines, made with Vidal, some of which have won international competitions.

New red grape varieties are finding a home in the Lanaudière region, just north-east of Montreal. Most notably, Vignoble Carone recently won international and national medals for their red wines.
