Marne Valley (French: Vallée de la Marne) is a sub-zone of Champagne, in France.
This winegrowing zone is spread from West to East on both banks of Marne river for roughly 60-70 kilometers. It encompasses the towns of Château-Thierry to the West, and Epernay to the East.
Marne valley soils are mostly made of marl, clay and sand. Pinot Meunier adapts well to that terrain and is mostly used in Champagnes from the area.
