Domaine la hache de bronze, a family winery owned by Joël and Jean Luc Métayer, is located in the heart of Cognac along the Charente river.

This family winery prepares its wines with a constant attention to authenticity and respect to the terroir. Its wines are produced, grown and bottled at the winery, in order to control all products along the whole grape transformation process. This wine is 100% Merlot.
