The Nemea OPAP is one of Greece's most prestigious appellations, and this collaboration from George Kokotos (of Semeli Wines) and Mihalis Salas is helping to establish the name with Greek wine lovers.
edit Tasting
As with most Nemea wines, there is a strong comparison with a light Bordeaux Blend. The wine shows dark berries like blackberry or cherry as well as dry fruit, spices, coffee and bitter chocolate.
edit Serving
Serve at 16-18C. The wine complements strongly-flavoured red meats, including game meats or venison. It would also pair well with pasta with beef or sausage tomato sauce, or aged cheeses.
